PJSC Polyus is pleased to announce that it has received the Industry Leadership Award for Precious Metals at the 2018 S&P Global Platts Global Metals Awards, held in London on May 17.
Hosted by S&P Global Platts, a leading global energy, metals and commodities information provider, the annual awards program honours and recognises those that motivate the metals industry to new paradigms, embodying excellence in leadership, innovation, safety, integrity and overall performance across the entire steel, metals and mining universe.
The judges commended Polyus for its impressive scale, low-cost production and growth trajectory, noting that in 2017 the Company’s gold output surpassed estimates for the fourth consecutive year and Polyus achieved double digit revenue growth. They also recognised that alongside this organic growth, in 2017 Polyus won the auction for Sukhoi Log, one of the world’s largest undeveloped gold deposits.
