Polyus Verninskoye has helped to organize a production of The Little Red Riding Hood the musical, a modern twist on a traditional fairytale.
The show was performed in the Bodaibo Cultural and Leisure Center, and sold-out the entire venue. The performance was composed by Valentina Putrya, Artistic Director at the Arlekin theater studio. The production was funded by Polyus Verninskoye, with many of the actors volunteering for the initiative.
The young audience was intrigued by the story of the adventures of the young girl and the creatures that they happened to meet on their way through the woods, such as an otter, an elk, a muskrat and the pack of wolves. As is common in many modern dramas, the final scene was quite unexpected, containing a twist.
As a plot spoiler, in this version the wolf survived the tale! The story taught the children that good and friendship are all around us, even at the most unlikely of times.
