Polyus Stroy's environmental and health and safety management systems receive ISO certification

Polyus Stroy LLC, the construction subsidiary of PJSC Polyus, has successfully passed its expert assessment and has for the first time been awarded certification by ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

For a company to receive ISO certification it must demonstrate a unified approach to the development and management of its documentation, employee access to databases, processes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, appropriate employee training and development systems, and that its employees have the necessary qualifications.

Polyus Stroy took this assessment very seriously, inviting independent auditors to evaluate the integrated HSE management system implementation program, review all of the documentation, conduct a survey with employees and heads of divisions and assess the Company’s risk-oriented approach, aimed at achieving better performance.

Receiving ISO certification is tangible proof that Polyus Stroy’s integrated management system complies with internationally recognized standards.

Marina Ivanova, HSE Director at Polyus Stroy, commented:

“Receiving international standard certification is an important milestone that reflects our responsible approach and accountability when it comes to HSE and fire safety policy. Better HSE process management contributes to our culture of operational safety, and gives us a competitive edge in tender processes.”
