Polyus PJSC has fully covered its electricity needs in 2024 with renewable energy from hydroelectric power plants («HPPs») through Russian national certification system of electricity origin.
Under the agreement with PJSC RusHydro, the Company acquired renewable energy attributes equivalent to approximately 1.8 billion kWh generated by the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP. The transaction has been recorded in the registry by the electricity origin certification system operator — LLC Energy Certification Center.
