Polyus donates laboratory testing equipment to Nizhny Kuranakh Hospital

The hospital in Nizhny Kuranakh has started using equipment donated by Polyus. Polyus invested RUB 5 mln in the new equipment for the local hospital.

Equipment donated included laboratory analysis equipment for patient tests. The equipment is sophisticated, with the fasted analyzer able to run 200 tests per hour.

Elena Terentyeva, senior technician at the hospital, commented:

“We have been studying the new equipment’s manuals to learn how to use them, and have also received help from Polyus engineers from Khabarovsk and Yakutsk . The new equipment has enabled our lab technicians to complete tasks that they were previously unable to, such as uploading data on to a computer, and has improved both the efficiency and the quality of our medical examinations.”
