The credit rating agency Expert RA has confirmed the ESG rating of Polyus PJSC at ESG- AA- level with a stable outlook. The assessment reflects a very high level of implementation and planning of sustainable development practices.
The Company's rating was revised due to a change in methodology and the transition to a unified rating scale. Previously, Polyus PJSC held a rating of ESG-II(b) and ESG-A in accordance with the Central Bank scale, with a stable outlook.
In its summary, the Expert RA agency emphasizes that the Company is implementing ESG initiatives in every area of sustainable development and has already achieved a number of its goals for reducing negative environmental impact.
In addition, the rating agency noted the high level of community engagement, favorable working conditions, quality of corporate governance, and high level of transparency – all of which support the assessment of the Company's business profile.
